Volunteers Month June 2009

Volunteers Month is the ideal opportunity for you to get involved with Volunteering in your local community.

The Pass it On campaign initiated by Maldon & District CVS encourages voluntary organisations to be bring volunteers together as a thank you for their time and commitment whilst enabling the opportunity for others to discover the joys and benefits volunteering can provide.

Burnham and Southminster One Places are holding a series of events throughout June and you are welcome to call in and speak to any of the team during these times about volunteering opportunities with One Place, the Dengie Project Trust, Essex Police or any other organisation you may have an interest in.

Wednesday 17th June 2009 - Burnham One Place 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Afternoon Tea. Tea Dance Volunteer Team

Thursday 18th June 2009 - Southminster One Place 10.30am - 12.30pm
Coffee Morning. Home From Hospital and Community Volunteer Team
