Exhibitions

Exhibition facilities are available at Burnham One Place for artists to display their work and the facilities are used annually as part of the Burnham Art Trail.

The 2009 Art Trail sees work from two local artists Triss Norman and Pat Boss.

Triss Norman - Conceptual Artist
Using found image & text, the narrative explored makes connections to memory. Moments in time are captured, but the route between source & synthesis is left blurred by partial reference, inviting the viewer to complete the picture.

Pat Boss - Painter
Works in oils. Inspiration is derived mainly from the light & atmosphere of the east coast, the interplay between its people and their environment & the ever changing variables of the subject images presented.

Our resident exhibit is photographs from local photographer Ray Poole. Ray kindly provides One Place with a variety of his local photographs for sale, donating any profits to the charity, the Dengie Project Trust, which manages One Place.
