Burnham and Southminster One Places stock a wide variety of local and national Community Information and therefore is a first stop shop for local residents and visitors, providing easy and friendly access to information and advice on District and County Council services plus information on many other local and national services.
The Centres provide face-to-face assistance and can also be contacted by telephone and email. The helpful and knowledgeable staff and volunteer teams can take the time to find out the exact nature of the enquiry and advise on how to help solve the problem.
Generally this will mean signposting individuals to the appropriate person/organisation who has the expertise to deal with the enquiry in more depth whilst also equip the individual with background information and advice regarding what they should expect.
