The Till IT Clicks sessions are Computer/IT training sessions offered to adults of all ages on a one to one basis by our team of dedicated Volunteer Trainers.
These sessions offer the opportunity for individuals to undertake some informal IT training whether it be learning more about computers in general, the basics for typing letters, surfing the Internet, researching local services which are available or linking up with friends and family online.
Since being established, only 6 months ago, we have provided assistance to individuals accessing Choice Based Lettings, benefits, applying for jobs, producing CVs, writing letters, sending attachments and generally gaining confidence in computer skills.
We have a team of individuals, generally volunteers, who are able to provide these one to one sessions on the computer facilities available at either One Place, alternatively individuals are welcome to bring their own laptops.
Whatever your level of expertise, from complete beginner to having a broad knowledge base, if you feel there are areas in which you would like to brush up your skills a session with us may be just what you are looking for.
A typical session lasts one hour, the first session is free with each subsequent session requiring a donation of £2.00. Our experienced team will be able to help you decide from what stage you would like to start your training and match you to one of our volunteers who will enable you to gain the knowledge and confidence you need to complete the tasks you are interested in.
There is no commitment required from yourselves. You can have one session and choose to book again, maybe weekly or alternatively just book another session again when you require some further advice.
Therefore if you have always wanted to learn more about computers or the Internet but never wanted to sign up to a formal training course, give a Till IT Clicks session a go - what have you got to lose?
